The Most Reverend George R. Lucey, FCM, presiding bishop of the American
National Catholic Church (ANCC), joyfully welcomes Fr. Vincent McTighe and Fr. Carroll Mrowicki as the newest priests to join the ANCC.
Fr. Vincent McTighe was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest in 1972 for the Diocese of Paterson (New Jersey). He attended Immaculate Conception Seminary in Darlington, NJ, where he received a Master of Divinity degree. Fr. Vincent served in different parishes throughout northern New Jersey. He also was appointed the first Executive Director of the National Federation of Priests' Councils headquartered in Chicago. After leaving active ministry, Fr. McTighe held various management positions in North Carolina, Vermont and New Jersey. Currently, he is Human Resources Director for Community Services, Inc. of Ocean County, which provides nutrition programs and benefit screenings for the elderly, especially the home bound.
Ordained for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark, Fr. Carroll Mrowicki attended minor seminary at Seton Hall Preparatory School and Divinity School at Seton Hall University both in South Orange, NJ. Fr. Mrowicki attended Immaculate Conception Seminary in Darlington, NJ where he completed a Master of Divinity degree. After ordination, he served as a pastoral assistant in Plainfield and Jersey City.
Fr. Mrowicki transitioned from parish duties to married life. He has been married to his wife, Judy for over 40 years and has a son and daughter-in-law. Over the past 35 years, Fr. Mrowicki has had a career serving in the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services in the Department of Labor where he was a Rehabilitation Counselor, Supervisor, Program Planning Specialist and County Office Manager.
